Finding Joy in Music
Teaching Philosophy
Creating a welcoming environment for all

During my senior year of high school, I took on my first piano student. I had taken piano lessons my whole life, but never imagined making this my career. The more experience I gained, the more people I met, and the more I watched my students learn and I grow, I realized I had found my calling. My desire is to pass on the joy of music making to everyone in my studio, while also giving them a solid foundation in technique and a well-rounded array of repertoire.
I create individualized curriculum depending on each student's needs and goals, and offer a clear lesson plan on how to reach their goals each week! I believe in a patient, engaging, and welcoming approach to teaching. Students should finish each lesson feeling inspired and motivated, not discouraged. Music has brought so much joy and peace into my life, and I hope it will do the same for you!
